A Study on the Transfiguration and Transformation of the Residential Administrative System on the Beginning of Modern Times.

在日本近代早期人们居住的城镇所在的地方，居住密度高，存在着相对成熟的城市生活。这种城市生活得到了以早期近代乡镇公社为代表的空间结构和社会结构的支撑。本研究将从住房、城市生活、居住管理、居住轨迹等多个角度对京都的城市居住系统进行考察。对于京都个别乡镇的模式，采用了长松市的Yamahokocho，并报告了其所在地区的居住系统。在所有的案例中，都可以看到乡镇公社自治的运作。也就是说，构建了住宅的生活管理和空间管控有机结合的体系。这种对住宅区的主动控制是日本城市历史中值得注意的历史事实。

In the location of where towns people lived in the early modern times in Japan, residential density was high and comparatively mature urban life existed. This urban life was supported by spatial structure and social structure represented by the early modern township commune. This study will seek urban residential system in Kyoto and examine the commune form various angles : housing, urban life, management of residence, contrail of residence etc.As for the models of individual township in Kyoto, Yamahokocho of Gionmatusri were taken up and residential system in its location was reported. In all the cases, operation by the self-government in township commune were seen. In other words, the system was built in which the life management and space management and control of the residences were organically operated. Such control over the residential area with the initiative of the towns people is a noteworthy historical facts concurring urban history in Japan.
