スウェーデン学派のクニュト・ヴィクセルに宛てたボェ-ム=バヴェルクの書簡の翻刻と分析を研究課題として科研費を申請した直後に、ヴィクセル自身が残した経済学研究ノートの中に、ボェ-ム=バヴェルクの著書『資本利子論の歴史と批判』初版(1884)やジェヴォンズの『経済学理論』第二版(1879)の要約ほか、彼自身が、ルレン財団の奨学金を得てヨーロッパ大陸に留学した際、ブレンターノの貨幣信用論(シュトラスブール大学)、クナップの社会政策史論(同大学)、メンガーの財政学(ヴィーン大学)、ジンガーの所得分配論(同大学)、ワグナーの財政学(ベルリン大学)といった当時の経済学者の大学講義に参加し聴講した内容の記載が確認された。科研費の採択の前に、このテキストの翻刻と分析を開始した。この資料は、当初分析対象に予定していたボェ-ム=バヴェルクからの書簡以上に量的に膨大であり、この内容の重要性に鑑み、科研費採択通知(5月)後も、その翻刻と分析を継続し、1995年に、3回の国際学会(1995年1月: アムステルダム、7月: ブリスベーン、12月: チュニス)においてその結果を報告することができた。以上の報告において新たに得られた知見は、「ヴィクセルが30代半ばになって初めて経済学を志した最初に、ジェヴォンズの新理論と接することによって、当時の経済学の限界革命を体験・修得し、ブレンターノやクナップの講義を聴講することによって、当時ヨーロッパ大陸で支配的であった歴史学派の分析が自分には向いていないことを自覚し、さらにメンガーによって、限界分析の応用分野が示唆された」と要約される。なお、ヴィクセルのジェヴォンズ・ノートについては、その翻刻を京都産業大学経済学および経営学会の紀要において公表することができた。
