代数曲線の副有限基本群におけるガロア群の(外)表現を記述する研究を行った。今年度は、特に曲線が退化して、いくつかの3標点射影直線の樹状合成の形に近づくとき,対応するガロア表現が「極限」において、どのように記述されるかを具体的に計算する手続を確立した。これは、退化型の双対グラフ上に、ガロア群作用つきの階数1、又は2の自由副有限群の直積を配置した群グラフの言葉で記述でき、極大退化型の極限ガロア表現を3点抜き射影直線の基本群へのガロア表現のファンカンペン型貼り合わせとして、表現するものである。このことの応用として、モジュライ空間の基本群へのガロア表現への応用も見出した。また、特別な場合としてテイト楕円曲線とよばれる局所体上の退化曲線に上の手続きを適用することで、グロタシディーク・タイヒシュラー群の1点抜き楕円曲線の基本群への作用の式が得られる。この種の表現のメタアーベル変形は、普通の場合、対応するデータ函数の特殊値の列の数論的振舞により、係数を記述できるような2変数巾級数環の加法群へのガロア表現を与えるが、テイト楕円曲線の場合は、伊原、金子、行成等により3点抜き射影直線の場合のメタアーベル変形により与えられた2変数巾級数環の乗法群へのヤコビ和ガロア表現の対数偏微分の形をしていることが判明した。その他、この巾級数表現の大域的なインターポレーションについて、いくつか知見を得た。
