This study describes approaches available for a method of correction for thermal deformation of machine tool using its basic characteristics. The thermal deformation of MC is caused not only by inner heat sources such as bearings, motors, ball screws and so on, but also by outer heat sources, such as room temperature variation in a machine shop, thermal radiation from the wall of the shop and other machines. In general when a unit temperature measured near heat source and a unit effective power at the spindle motor and a unit room temperature are generated pulsewise or stepwise, the basic thermal deoformation can be obtained experimentally.When the temperature of the machine structure and the efffective power at the spindle motor and the room temperature are measured, the basic characteristics can be obtained, and then it seems that the thernmal deformation can be etimated by using the basic characteristics and the temperature measured near the heat source, the effective power at the motor and the room temperature. Therefore, the method for estimating the thermal deformation of MC with room temperature constancy and room temeperature variation and difference of temperature between upper and lower around MC is researched in this study.As the results, the following conclusions have been obtained.1. In case of room temperature constancy, the thermal deformation can be obtained by using the basic characteristics and the temperature of the machine structure or the effective power at the spindle motor.2. In case of room temperature variation, it is possible to estimate the thermal deformation by diving thermal deformation of MC between thermal deformation caused by room temperature variation and thermal deformation caused by heat source except room temperature variation.
本研究描述了一种利用机床热变形的基本特性进行机床热变形校正的方法。MC的热变形不仅是由轴承、电机、滚珠丝杠等内部热源引起的,也有外部热源造成的,如车间内的室内温度变化、车间墙面的热辐射等。通常,当测量热源附近的单位温度、主轴电机处的单位有效功率和单位室温时,可以通过实验获得基本的热变形;当测量机器结构的温度、主轴电机处的有效功率和室温时,可以得到基本特性,然后根据基本特性和热源附近的温度、电机有效功率和室温来估计热变形。因此,本文研究了用常温恒定、室温变化和MC周围上下温差估算MC热变形的方法,得到了如下结论。在室温恒定的情况下,可以利用机床结构的基本特性和温度或主轴电机的有效功率来获得热变形。在室温变化的情况下,可以通过将MC的热变形从室温变化引起的热变形和除室温变化以外的热源引起的热变形之间来估计MC的热变形。
