We developed systems for hearing-impaired people. These systems are as follows.(1) Real-Time Captioning System using internet.(2) We have developed this system which can offer more accurate Japanese captioning than ever consisting of two stenographic systems (STENOWORD-PC SYSTEM) and a superimposer (VIP-4100R). One STENOWORD-PC SYSTEM operates for inputting Japanese words by speakers in Kana (Japanese character) and converting these Kana to Kanji (Chinese character).Another STENOWORD-PC SYSTEM operates for correcting errors with wrong or omitted letters.(3) Long-distance Real-time Japanese Captioning System using two stenographic systems (Using ISDN)(4) Real-Time Captioning System using Voice recognition.
