長野県内の小中学校に在職する信州大学教育学部卒業生に、教育学部の授業評価を依頼するため、長野県内のすべての小中学校計600校に授業評価アンケートを郵送し回答を求めた。600部のアンケートのうち、346部が回収された(回収率57%)。回答者の卒業年は1987年(昭和62年)を中心にほぼ正規分布を描いた。授業評価は、教員養成学部カリキュラムの主たる科目群(教育学・心理学・教育法・教科専門・教科専門(副免)・(旧)教養科目)に分けて集計分析された。その結果、(1)教職関係の科目(教育学・心理学・教育法)は、教科専門科目よりも全般に評価が低いこと、(2)なかでも教育学関係の授業の評価が低いこと、(3)教養科目の授業は一部で指摘されているよりも高いこと、などが明らかとなった。本研究でも、守ら(1996)と同様の手続きにより、総合評価でよい授業とされる授業はどの個別評価項目と最も関係しているのかを、各評価項目を説明変数、総合評価を目的変数としてステップワイズ法による重回帰分析を行った。その結果、一貫して重回帰式に入ってきた最も重要な項目は、「講師の説明が知的に刺激を与えるものであること」であった。科目群間の違いはあまりみられなかった。本研究では、こうした授業評価結果を在学生による授業評価と比較分析するため、信州大学教育学部3年次生305名にほぼ同様の授業評価をさせた。その結果、卒業生と在学生との授業評価にはほとんど差がないことが見いだされた。本研究の一部は、守ら(1997a)及び守ら(1997b)として公刊されている。また、成果の一部はアメリカジョージア大学にて口頭発表された。

The Nagano Prefectural Junior High School is located in Shinshu University, and the Department of Education has a total of 600 schools in Nagano. 600 of them were recovered and 346 were recovered (recovery rate 57%). Part of this study is devoted to the publication of the first two chapters of the book, i.e., the first chapter (1997a) and the second chapter (1997b). A part of the results of the study was published in the Journal of Science and Technology.
