1998年，对东京都地区2000名消费者进行了深入调查，研究了消费者对新家电回收系统的接受程度。我们的研究团队获得了关于支付意愿、信息披露效果和购买回收商品意愿的重要数据。1999年，课课组对Yono市居民对固体废物处理收费的反应进行了全面调查。调查问卷被邮寄给了2000名居民。调查结果显示，市民根据年龄、居住条件等属性，对收费行为有不同的反应。此外，调查还证实了对充电系统的支持比显著增加。

In 1998, Consumer's Acceptance to the New System for Home Appliances Recycling was researched by far-reaching survey on 2,000 consumers in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Our research team earned important data on the willingness-to-pay, effects of information disclosure, and willingness-to-buy recycling goods.In 1999, a comprehensive survey on the citizen's response to solid waste disposal charging in City of Yono was conducted by our research team. Questionaires were maild to 2,000 residents. The survey results suggested that the citizens have responded to the charging by various behaviors according to their attributes, such as age, residential condition, and so on. Moreover, the significant increase of support ratio to the charging system was confirmed by the survey.
