Historical and Institutional Research on the "Financial Global Standard"

In recent years, Japanese Financial System has strongly required her structural reform towards the Global Standard System. But, the contents and direction are not so clear still now that someone says that the global standard only means Anglo-American standard.Our analyses are as follows, firstly, to clarify the origin of the contemporary global standard by examining the start of IMF from the view of the UK not from the USA.Secondary, to examine the IMF's working as "adjustable peg" became unstable in the early 1970s. Thirdly, to compare the financial crises between the early 1980s USA, early 1990s Nordic countries and 1997's Asian countries. Fourthly, to analyze the Japanese financial crisis in 1990s.
