Development of an assessment instrument and guidelines for nursing intervention for families with chronically ill children at home. - Clinical application of the Long-Term Family Care Model -

本研究旨在发展一套评估工具及护理介入指引，以系统化的方法，针对居家长期病患儿童的家庭进行护理介入。本研究以Hymovich的长期照护权变模式为基础，以长期照护模式为概念架构，其组成部分包括系统、时间、六个中介变项（家庭压力、信念、家庭因应、家庭力量与资源、家庭需求）及一个结果变项（家庭功能水平）。首先，并根据这一模式，评估问卷包括五个规模，包括108个项目的开发。其次，通过对85个慢性病儿童家庭（115名家庭成员）的测试，对量表的信度和效度进行了评价。另一方面，护理干预指南是家庭评估的结果。本研究结果显示，评估问卷具有足够的信度与效度，提示护理干预指引可适用于临床。

The purpose of this study was to develop an assessment instrument and guidelines for nursing intervention with a systematic approach for families with chronically ill children at home. The conceptual framework underlying this study was The Long-Term Family Care Model, an adaptation of Hymovich's Contingency Model of Long-Term Care.The components were system, time , six mediate variables( family stress, beliefs, family coping, family Strength a nd resources, family needs) and one outcome variable (level offamily functioning). First, and based on this model, an assessment questionnaire comprising five scales consisting 108 items was developed. Second, the reliability and validity of these scales was assessed by testing them on 85 families(ll5 family members ) with chronically ill children at home. The guidelines for nursing intervention , on the other hand, were the result of family assessment. The results of this study indicate that the assessment questionnaire was sufficiently reliable and valid, which suggests that the guidelines for nursing intervention may be suitable for use in a clinical setting.
