ANALYSIS OF THE PROCESS OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION BY INTERNATIONAL INPUT-OUTPUT TABLE

这项研究的目的是汇编和分析1990年代欧洲国际投入产出表。在第一、二研究年度对20世纪80年代和90年代的贸易数据和投入产出数据进行研究的基础上，编制并分析了欧盟的大型国际表，以研究欧盟国家在最后一个研究年度的相互依存结构。该表包括10个欧盟国家，即英国、德国、法国、意大利、比利时、荷兰、丹麦、爱尔兰、西班牙和葡萄牙，每个国家的经济活动按照共同产业分类法（NACE）分为25个中间部门。为了比较时间序列的结构，不仅编制了1985年的表格，而且还编制了1990年和1995年的表格。为了编制这些国际表格，每个国家的表格都是在有关国家没有编制时由欧洲统计局开发的EURO方法估计的。参照有关国家的贸易数据和进口表的结构，对货物和服务的出口矢量进行了划分，并调整为矩阵形式。利用这些国际投入产出表，分析和考虑了欧盟国家之间相互依存关系的变化，从1986年的《单一欧洲法案》通过到1993年的市场一体化，直到1995年的第四次欧盟扩张。还试图与日本发展中国家研究所汇编的亚洲国际投入产出表进行比较。分析结果表明，欧盟内部的相互依存结构在90年代虽然有所减弱，但总体上仍在不断增强。西班牙融入欧盟的进程也十分明显。在不久的将来，不仅分析结果，而且欧洲国际投入产出表本身也将出版。

This research is aiming at compilation and analysis of European international input-output tables for the 1990s. Based upon the research of trade data and input-output data for 1980s and 1990s in the 1st and 2nd research year, the large international table for EU was compiled and analyzed to research interdependent structure of EU countries in this final research year. The table includes 10 EU countries, i.e. England, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, Spain and Portugal, and economic activities of each country are classified into 25 intermediate branches according to the common industrial classification (NACE). And the tables were compiled not only for 1985 but also 1990 and 1995 to compare the structure in time series. In order to compile these international tables, each country's table was estimated by EURO method which was developed by European statistical office when it was not compiled by the countries concerned. And export vector for goods and services was divided referring to the structure of trading data and import tables for the countries concerned and adjusted to matrix form. Using these international input-output tables, changes of interdependent relationships among EU countries, after the agreement of the Single European Act in 1986 through Market Integration in 1993 until 4th Enlargement of the Union in 1995, has been analyzed and considered. It was also attempted to compare with the Asian international input-output tables compiled by the Institute of Developing Countries in Japan. As a result of analysis, interdependent structure as a whole is becoming robuster in EU though the degree decreased a little in both areas in the 1990s. And also remarkable Spanish integration into EU was evidently showed. In the near future, not only the result of analysis but also the European international input-output tables themselves will be published.
