1.はじめに本研究は、横浜市の「市街地環境設計制度」に基づき保全された自然緑地を調査対象とし、保全された自然緑地の実態調査などを行い、身近な生活環境に分布する小規模自然緑地の保全に向けた総合設計制度適用の効果と可能性について考究することを目的としている。2.研究実績(1)横浜市市街地環境設計制度の適用事例は、昭和48年の制定以降、平成13年度末までに433件を数えている。自然緑地を有する事例を含む全ての適用事例に関する基礎データ(許可年月日、名称、位置、建物用途、用途地域、敷地面積、建築面積、延床面積、建蔽率、容積率、制限高さ、公開空地の種類別の面積及び有効面積など)を収集し、データベースを作成した。(2)自然緑地と一般の公開空地の比較分析を行なった結果、自然緑地の公開空地を有する事例の平均敷地面積は24,364.7m^2と、自然緑地を有しない事例(10,829.9m^2)の倍以上の規模を有している。また、建蔽率についても前者の25.3%に対して後者は45.4%と高く、敷地規模が大きく建築計画上も比較的ゆとりがある場合に公開空地として自然緑地を保全する傾向がみられた。(3)「横浜市市街地環境設計制度」により保全された34件の自然緑地について、総合設計許可申請書に添付された平面計画図を基に実態調査を行なった。その結果、緑地は全体的に保全されていた。しかし、公開空地の利用の視点から見た場合、公園に隣接して保全された自然緑地については、緑地内に遊歩道も整備され利用されている傾向にあったが、既成市街地などで適用された公開空地の自然緑地については、急斜面の緑地が多くを占め、利用自体困難な状況にあった。

Open space is used from different perspectives, parks are adjacent to each other, natural green space is protected, green space is used for walking, urban streets are suitable, open space is used from natural green space, steep slopes are used from natural green space, and self-utilization is difficult.
