本研究は、沖縄県を中心とした亜熱帯島嶼地域における環境配慮型の生活文化について、デジタル教材を開発し、高等学校家庭科の「生活文化の伝承と創造」に対応した授業研究を行うことを目的とするものである。そのため、研究最終年度となる本年度では下記のことを研究成果として明らかにした。1. 自然環境に配慮した暮らしの知恵(工夫)に関するデジタル画像としてのデータベース化昨年度、天候不良のため十分な調査結果が得られなかった夏至の日について再調査を実施し、国指定重要文化財中村家住宅において、季節格差、日格差、気象などに配慮した暮らしの知恵をデジタル画像(動画及び静止画)で撮影し、そのデータベースを作成した。尚、観察時間は、午前9時30分から午後5時30分の時間帯において実施した。2. デジタル教材の開発高等学校家庭科の学習指導要領に基づき、住生活の視点からデジタル教材開発を行った。高等学校教員との事前ヒアリングを通して、(1)授業者が多様に活用できる、(2)視覚的に分かりやすい、(3)短時間のものに仕上げる、ことに配慮し、実証的な観察データをとりまとめた教材「中村家住宅での日影の動き～夏至の日と冬至の日の比較～」 (ソフト:Microsoft PowerPoint)を作成した。3. デジタル教材に対する評価の実施当初予定していた本教材を用いた授業実践は、高等学校教員の協力が得られず実施ができなかった。そこで、本デジタル教材自体に対する高等学校教員へのアンケート調査を実施した。調査は沖縄県内の高等学校60校に在籍する全家庭科教員158名を対象に実施した。有効回収率は50.6%であった。その結果、概ね教材に対する評価は得られたが、住領域の学習時間の確保、情報関連設備の不足、生徒の基礎学力に対応した補助説明の必要性等、課題もみられた。今後は、生徒や学校環境に対応した教材の改良を行っていく必要がある。
