The HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen supports the free exchange of research results and unrestricted access to scientific specialist information and would like to make the research results of its academics as widely publicly accessible as possible.The proposed DFG funding is intended to further expand and promote the possibilities for quality-assured Open Access publishing by researchers. At the same time, structures and workflows for monitoring the Open Access publication volumes and costs will be created and improved in order to achieve the greatest possible transparency of Open Access publication resources. As part of the project, the university library's existing consulting services on Open Access publishing will be expanded in order to increase the acceptance of Open Access at the HAWK and new emphasis in the information services, such as the use of ORCID, will be developed.
