项目摘要

日本国内における三国志享受史を構築するべく、前年度まではその大幅な枠組みに作り取り組んできたが、本年度は、その成果を受け、特に掘り下げて検討する必要があると思われた、室町期の注釈世界内での三国志享受の様相についての考察を集中的に行った。まず、『応永記』に引用される三国志言説を中心とする漢籍故事の典拠検討に取り組み、同書内で引用される漢籍故事やその典拠となったテクストの中には、先行する諸軍記作品においては取り込まれていなかったものが多々見られること、そして、その部分が、室町期に活躍する五山僧が作成した注釈書内の叙述や彼らが利用したテクストと共通することを指摘、『応永記』の成立と注釈世界との関わりを想定すべきとの論を呈示した。「『応永記』の漢籍享受-三国志を中心に-」(古典遺産54号2004年9月)にまとめた通りである。三国志享受における五山僧の影響力の大きさを示唆した上記の論を補強するものとして、五山僧の一人である太極の日記、『碧山日録』の検討を行った。同書には、関羽信仰への詳細な言及があるのだが、それを端緒として、中国や日本の諸文献を追い、日中両国での関羽信仰の変遷過程を整理した。その作業によって、室町期における三国志享受の実態、すなわち、多岐に渉る領域で同言説が利用されるようになったこと、また、その基となる中国側の言説も時を距てずして日本に流入されていたことが明らかとなった。この論は、「関羽顕聖譚の受容-『碧山日録』を端緒として-」(国語と国文学掲載予定、掲載号・頁数・刊行月は未定)としてまとめた。さらに、室町期における学者達の交流、言説伝播の過程を明らかにするべく、室町期の諸注釈書や日記に見られる漢籍にかかわる叙述の抽出・整理・検討を試みた。それらについては今後個別に活字化する予定であるが、それによって、当該時期における三国志享受の様相の相対化が図れよう。
