The following research achievements about four themes are obtained, and a principal and theoretical synthesis of design for architectural, urban and social systems is proposed by using multiple network.1.Architecture Adapting to HumanA building roof shape generation system and a sensibility information search system in consideration of sensibility by neural network (NN) are developed. A Human behavior model is researched by using genetic algorithms (GA) and NN. Design support systems for concert hall and interior design are developed. Furthermore, a co-emergent evolutionary system adapting to environmental variety and changes is proposed by multiple optimization method.2.Architecture Adapting to EnvironmentA feasibility of recurrent architecture and city based on circulation type society is examined. We developed a SDOF structure using variable stiffness by a clutch, intelligent fuzzy optimal active and hybrid control system and semi-active base-isolation system by MR damper. Then, we … More proposed an optimal design system evaluated by amount of sunlight and discrimination method of composition in "CHASHITSU (Tea Room)" design.3.Modeling and Analysis of CityBy using cellular automata (CA), multi agent (MA) and so on, a research on characteristics of compact city and segregation of land, growth analysis of commercial district in metropolitan area, reproduction of the Burges's concentric circle land-use model, artificial social simulation of land rent decision, a simulation on rescue in case of earthquake disaster, and interactive constitution system on urban space planning are performed.4.Modeling and Analysis of SocietyBy using MA, discussion about environmental dilemma game to establish a sustainable society, simulation based analysis on the distributed decision making of construction scheduling are performed. Ubiquitous Kyoshin observation network actualizing robustness to environmental changes is proposed. We demonstrate the effectiveness of structural member circulation, and optimized prices of members by GA. Logical jumps in design thinking are explained. Less
