International Comparison of Automotive Franchise System

According to the original research plan, I get the following achievements. First, I made a lot of intensive interviews. It includes interviews with automotive manufacturers, and auto dealers, importers/distributors. Its number is around 400. As automotive manufacturers, I interviewed Toyota Motor, Nissan Motor, Honda, Mazda. Daihatsu, Mitsubishi. Dealers are Toyota, Toyopet, Carolla, Nissan, Primo, Mitsubishi, Importers/distributors is Yanase.Secondly, in addition to domestic research, I interviewed in China, Korea, USA, UK, France, Germany and Italy. In foreign Countries, I interviewed automotive manufacturers, and auto dealers, importers/distributors, and used car dealers. In addition I made contact with International Car Distribution Program and get valuable information.As a result of these intensive interviews, I get valuable data concerning manufacturer-dealer relation, distribution network, internet sales, and used car distribution network. Especially, I get the newest information about Block Exemption in Europe.I wrote mainly two papers in English and published them.
