项目摘要

平成16年度は、国連グローバル・コンパクト(GC)に参加する日本企業から構成されるグローバル・コンパクト・ジャパン・ネットワーク(GCJN)について研究をおこなった。GCはグローバル化する経済に「人間の顔」を与えるべく、企業が自主的に社会的責任を果たす実践に取り組むよう促す試みであり、アナン国連事務総長が主導している。GCは国ごとにローカル・ネットワークと呼ばれるものを有する。本研究は、日本のGCネットワークであるGCJNに参加する17社(2004年7月現在)のうち15社の担当者にインタビューを試み、GCJNの現状についてまとめたうえで、将来を展望したものである。本研究は、平成15年度以来おこなってきた研究の延長線にある。研究の成果を論文("HOW to Activate a Global Compact Local Network : Present State and Prospect of Japan Network"、栗栖薫子大阪大学大学院助教授との共著)にまとめ、ペンシルバニア大学ウォートン校において9月16日から18日にかけて開催された"The First United Nations Global Compact Academic Conference" ("Bridging the Gap : Sustainable Environment")にて発表した。さらに、9月28日には、国連広報センターにて開催されたグローバル・コンパクト・ジャパン・ネットワークの会合において、同センターや参加企業の担当者の方々に対して拙稿および学術会議について帰国報告をおこなった。

In 2016, the Japanese company participated in the research on the composition of the GCJN. GC is responsible for the implementation of corporate autonomy and social responsibility.
