2009年度は以下のような研究を実施した。第一に、ドール・フード社の仏果樹地帯における事業展開や同社が取引農業生産者に義務付ける環境配慮型農業の認証制度(GlobalGAP)等に関する現地調査を進め、2009年7月に三重大学で開催された日本農業市場学会大会で報告した。第二に、農業・農村地域振興の在り方を比較検討するため、アグリビジネス企業の牽引力に依拠せず独自の地域発展を模索する、フランスの条件不利地域の取り組みを調査した。2010年1月に、フランスの中央山塊に位置するリムーザン地方を訪れ、農産物の公的地理的表示制度による地域農業の振興に関する調査を実施した。第三に、これらの研究成果を、2009年12月から2010年1月の間、4度に渡って発表している。第一回目は、2009年12月16日にフランスのモンペリエ市Agropolis Internationalで開催された所属複合研究ユニットInnovationの大学院生博士課程の院生の研究報告集会で、第二回目は、2010年1月13日の複合研究ユニットInnovationの定例研究会における研究報告である。第三回目は、2010年1月19日に、複合研究ユニットMoisaにおいて、農業大学院大学SupAgroの学生を対象にセミナー(フランス語)を行った。内容は、多国籍アグリビジネスのドール・フード社の日本およびフランスにおける事業展開についてである。第四回目は、2010年1月27～29日に南フランスのサン・ラファエルで開催された所属研究部署SAD(複合研究ユニットInnovationの上部組織)の総会におけるポスター報告である。ここでは、博士論文の研究成果をAO判のカラーポスター(フランス語)にまとめ、総会開催期間中、展示した。また、その他のアウトリーチ活動として、2009年5月にはスイス・ジュネーブで開催されたフランス国立農学研究所複合研究ユニットInnovationとスイスの農業・農村開発研究所AGRIDEA共催の国際セミナー"the 3rd International Training Module : Geographical Indication-A Way Forward for Local Development" May 4th-15th 2009に参加し、日本の地域団体商標登録制度についてポスター報告を行った。

In 2009, the following research was carried out. First, the company's fruit market business development and the company's introduction of agricultural producers 'voluntary payment, the environmental protection type agriculture certification system (GlobalGAP), etc. were investigated in situ.
