项目摘要

この研究の第2年度(最終年度)にあたり、初年度に実施していた日本企業5社((株)富士通インフォソフトテクノロジ、東日本電信電話(株)、富士ゼロックス(株)、三洋電機(株)、エーザイ(株))への訪問調査を継続して実施するとともに、物理的な作業環境と仮想的な作業環境において先進的な取り組みを続けている(株)エヌ・ティ・ティ・ドコモヘの訪問調査を実施した。さらに、企業の境界をまたがる研究開発組織について検討するために、NPO大田ビジネス創造協議会、大田区産業振興協会、板橋区商工振興課、札幌市経済局産業振興課、さっぽろ産業振興財団等への訪問調査を実施した。本年度の主たる目的は、研究開発部門や企画部門などの知的集団作業をおこなうオフィスで知見を収集して新たな仮説を構築すること、そして研究成果を発表することであった。第一の、知見収集と仮説構築という目的は、訪問調査や各種文献調査で達成された。研究に着手する際に抱いていた、物理的な作業環境と仮想的な作業環境は相互作用しながら生成進化していくものであり両者を切り離して論じるのは有益ではないという信念を補強するような知見を、多くの調査によって収集した。それらの知見を基にして、企業内作業環境については物理的・仮想的双方における評価方法にポイントをおき、企業の境界をまたがる作業環境については提携におけるweb利用にポイントをおいて研究を進めた。前者では、イントラネットとオフイス・レイアウトの相互作用的変化に関する仮説を得た。後者では、これまで主として注目されてきた事業化段階での提携だけでなくここれに先立つ「コンセプト創造」段階での提携が存在することを明らかにし、この提携を生成する組織を「アクティブ・コミュニティ」と概念化した。第二の、研究成果の発表という目的は、国際学会1回、国内学会2回での研究発表、学術誌への論文掲載(予定)で達成された。
