本研究では,原価企画システムの進化プロセスの経時的観察を通じて,原価企画能力の進化と組織成果との関係を探究するという研究目的を掲げ,本年度は,追加的文献調査と企業への訪問調査を予定していた。具体的には,第1に,原価企画に関わる社内制度,ルール,ルーティンの変更,それに伴う組織成員のアクションの変化,その結果として開発成果への影響を観察するために,ある電源装置メーカーにおける原価企画導入プロジェクトを対象に,導入検討時点から継続的に調査をしてきた。第2には,一般的な製造業とは異なるソフトウエア開発における原価企画能力と組織成果との関係について調査を進めてきた。その結果,第1の調査・研究から,管理会計チェンジの制度化プロセスには,「ルール・チェンジ主導型」と「アクション・チェンジ主導型」の2つのパターンがあることを観察した。ルール・チェンジ主導型とは,ルール変更から始まる制度化プロセスにおける規定と再生産の繰り返しのパターンであり、アクション・チェンジ主導型とは、原価企画のルールの規定に依拠するのではなく,アクションの領域での単発的な行動と成果に基づき新たなルーティンが発生するチェンジ・パターンである。暗黙的に前提とされてきたルール・チェンジ主導型ではないチェンジ・パターンを発見したことに意義があると考えている。第2のソフトウエア開発における原価企画能力と組織成果との関係については,ソフトウエア開発にあるべき原価企画像を模索している段階である。具体的には,調査協力企業とプロジェクト・チームを結成し,開発特性の異なる3つのソフトウエア開発プロジェクトを対象にした分析を進めている。来年度前半を目処に一定の成果が得られると考えている。
