项目摘要

ロボットが家庭の中で利用されるためには、人間とロボット及びロボット間の協調作業が重要となっており、ロボットの社会行動(協調行動)に対する研究が重要である。特に社会的行動をするには、「心の理論」が必要であるといわれているので、他者の行動を予測するシステムをロボットに組み込むことによるロボットの協調行動に及ぼす効果を研究する。人間が荷物の協調運搬作業をする場合において、他人の心の状態を推測する「他者モデル」の有効性を検証した。相手の行動が予測できない状態と予測可能な状態になるように、被験者に対しては先見情報の与え方を変えることにより、相手の行動を予測可能な状態の方が明らかにより良い行動をとることが可能であることが確認された。また、相手の行動が予測できない状態と予測可能な状態についての条件の与え方の追加実験も行い、本実験の検証している。次にこの「相手の行動を予測する」システムをロボットの行動に組み込むことにより、より良い協調作業の実現を試みた。ニューラルネットワークに他者の行動を予測する階層を内蔵する学習ネットワークを構築した結果、他者の行動を予測する部分の学習と目的地の到達時間短縮の相関が認められ、他者の行動を予測するシステムが有効に機能していることが確認された。また、本システムでの結果から人間との協調行動においても協調行動が可能であった。その結果、単に協調行動を行うということだけではなく、本システムは人間にストレスを与えない協調行動へと発展する可能性が確認された。
