项目摘要

本年度は、ダイナミック・セマンティクスと確率理論の融合とその自然言語意味論への応用を主軸に研究した。真理条件意味論ではとらえづらかった「感情副詞」を多様相論理における確率論的信念変更で形式化した。たとえば、「Surprisingly, S」はSという命題が共有信念Γの中で信頼性としての確率もしくはplausibilityが高く配置されているのにもかかわらず、SをΓに付け加え、Γ内でSと矛盾する命題を削除するという信念変更を行う。他に「Sadly」、「Regretfully」、「Not surprisingly」、「Thankfully」、「Disgustingly」や日本語の「驚いたことに」、「悲しいことに」、「うれしいことに」、「ありがたいことに」、「むかつくことに」などを扱い、その階層構造的分類も提案した。この研究は、感情表出という言語行為を形式論理的側面からとらえなおしたものとして評価できる。また日本語の証拠性モダリティ(「らしい」、「みたいだ」、「ようだ」)のダイナミックセマンティクスもまた多様相論理と確率論とダイナミックセマンティクスを融合させることでダイナミックセマンティクスを与えた。証拠性モダリティの動的な情報源依存の性質を不確定存在物への照応をダイナミックセマンティクスで捉えることができた。また「rarely」、「decreasingly」、「likely」などの傾向性副詞のダイナミックセマンティクスをデータマイニングのメタ理論の論理化(回帰分析・連想規則発見など)とダイナミックセマンティクスを融合させることにより提案した。これは自然言語の意味論とデータマイニングとの意味的関連性を示したものといえる。さらに、ゲーム理論・信念ネットワーク・確率論理・ダイナミック論理を融合させて、意思決定のダイナミック論理を提案した。この研究は今後、自然言語の意味論との融合を期待している。
