本年度は、上記の研究課題を達成するために、以下の調査・分析を行った。(1)各地の方言模擬会話の作成と音声収録『全国方言文法辞典』に掲載する資料として、各地方言に特徴的な文法的表現を盛り込んだ方言模擬会話を作成し、現地の話者に訂正をしてもらったうえで、実際に当該の会話を演じてもらい、音声を収録するという調査を行った。今年度、収録した方言と文法項目・話者は、以下の通りである。(a)秋田県本荘方言[文法項目]推量表現、原因・理由表現、依頼表現、勧誘表現、敬語[話者]老年層(50〜60代)2名(b)京都方言[文法項目]動詞音便形・形容詞音便形・命令形、断定の助動詞、否定表現、可能表現、アスペクト表現、敬語[話者]老年層(50〜60代)2名、若年層(20代前半)8名収録した音声は、今後「ウェブ版全国方言文法辞典」を作成し掲載する予定である。なお(a)については、「本荘のことば」http://cube.ed.akita-u.ac.jp/staff/hidaka/KOTOBA/honjo/tokucho.htmに掲載してある。(2)東北方言の文法形式の意味・用法の地域差に関する分析平成15、16年度に実施した調査の結果を踏まえて、東北方言の方向・着点を表す格助詞サ、対象を表す格助詞コト・トコ、テンス形式テアッタ・タッタの意味・用法の地域差を分析した。その結果、これらの文法形式が、東北地方の日本海側の地域では意味・用法の拡張が進み、太平洋側では本来の意味・用法が維持される傾向があることが分かった。『全国方言文法辞典』は、こうした「文法化」の程度に地域差があることを踏まえた記述を行う必要がある。なお、今回の分析の結果は、「方言における文法化-東北方言の文法化の地域差をめぐって-」『日本語の研究』3巻1号に掲載されている。
