臨床看護場面で復職支援を行なっていくためには、労働に関わる多面的な要素を適切にアセスメントできるツールの開発だけではなく、使用する側である医療機関の看護職に労働生活適応への支援の必要性の認識が重要となってくる。本研究ではアセスメントツール実用化に向けて、臨床看護の場における看護職者による復職支援の現状と認識を明らかにし、復職支援促進の方略を探ることを目的として質問紙調査を実施した。調査の趣旨に同意の得られた7病院の看護職者を対象に自記式質問紙調査(無記名)を実施し、1618名の看護職者より回答が得られた(回収率83.1%)。結果として、職業を持つ患者の復職支援に約7割の看護職者が関心を持ち役割だと捉えているが、実施しているのは2割強にとどまっていることが明らかとなった。また7施設間で関心や役割認識には差があり、病院の方針や機能等が影響していると考えられた。行っている復職支援の内容は、「病院内の関係機関・部門との連携」「仕事をしながら疾病コントロールを行なうための相談・対応」「復職できるかという不安に対する援助」「復職に向けた体力・筋力の回復等の身体的準備に関する相談・対応」等であった。復職支援を行なっていない理由の筆頭は、具体的援助方法がわからないということであり、次いで患者からの相談がない、という看護師のやや受身の姿勢がうかがえた。また8割弱が「職場復帰のためのアセスメントツール」を活用してみたいと回答した。今後、今後復職支援の促進に向けた方略としては、各施設で関心・役割認識には違いがあるため、各々の特徴に応じた方略をとっていくことが重要である。さらにアセスメントツール活用への関心は高く、問題・課題として挙げられた労働生活を考慮した生活指導、関係部門との連携、労働生活の情報収集の方法等、具体的な援助方法を確立していくために有効に活用していく必要がある。
