前年度要介護高齢者の介護者を対象に行った介護の経験を通して感じた肯定的な体験についてのインタビュー結果をKJ法に準じてまとめた結果と研究者が以前に行った先行研究の結果から、要介護高齢者の介護者における介護の肯定的測定する尺度の試用版を作成した。尺度の試用版は先行研究と同様に25項目5段階評定からなる。尺度を構成する項目を検討するために、某県内の2市町村の保健福祉部門、7訪問看護ステーション、1病院内訪問看護部の利用者ないし把握者を対象に自気式質問紙調査を行った。調査用紙の配布は原則的には施設の看護職員に依頼した、回収は原則的には郵便法によった。一部施設においては、質問紙に対する回答者の直接の感想を把握することを目的として、研究者が調査対象者宅を直接訪問して、聞き取り調査を行った。調査内容は、要介護者の属性、介護者の属性、介護の肯定的側面測定尺度試用版25項目、荒井が開発した日本語版ZBI8項目である。300部配布し216部の回収があった。現在、入力が完了し詳細な分析はこれから行う予定であるが、聞き取り調査での対象者の反応や返送された調査用紙を概観した結果から判断すると、試用版25項目の中には家族に関する項目が複数あるが、家族と同居していない、つまり介護者と要介護者のみの世帯が今回の対象者にも相当数存在し、介護者と要介護者のみの世帯では家族に関する肯定的側面の項目は回答し難いか回答不能であることが多かった。今後、尺度を開発するにあたっては、家族に関する項目の扱い方の検討、信頼性と妥当性からの各項目の検討が必要である。
