Investigation into the actual conditions of long-term absentee with health impariments in compulsory education of Japan and their educational needs

全国有4万多名健康受损的长期缺勤者，尽管他们中的大多数人正在接受普通教育，但这种办法很薄弱。本研究首次对日本义务教育长期缺课健康障碍学生的实际情况及其教育需求进行了大规模调查。我们从2827所学校获得3417份长期缺勤健康损害报告（答复率55.7%）。本研究表明，长期缺勤学校需要健康障碍儿童特殊学校的支持系统。

There was over 40.000 long-term absentee with health impairments in the whole country and the approach was thin even though the most of them are receiving ordinary education. This study is the first large-scale investigation into the actual conditions of such long-term absentee with health impairments in compulsory education of Japan and their educational needs. We got 3,417 reports of long-term absentee with health impairments from 2,827 schools (the rate of answer 55.7%). This study implies that schools with long term absentee need the supporting systems from the special schools of children with health impairments.
