项目摘要

外国語単語の認知処理に及ぼす外来語の影響について,平成16,17年度は主に正書と意味に着目した研究を行ってきたが,平成18年度は音韻と意味に着目した分析・検討を実施した.日本人英語学習者の心的辞書内に登録されているカタカナ語の語彙には,最初に英単語として学習したものと外来語として学習したものがあると考えられるが,本研究の結果から,いずれの場合も英語音の知覚・生成能力が不十分であることが体系化された心的辞書の構築を阻害する大きな要因となっていることが示唆された.これまでの結果に基づいて,本研究の総括として中間言語の心的辞書モデルを提案した.このモデルでは,心的辞書内に登録されている外国語の単語へのアクセスの際,母語の単語としての音韻情報や正書情報(本研究の場合は英単語のカタカナ表記)が中心的な役割を果たす.その単語の外国語としての音韻・正書情報は,最初に外来語として学習した単語には登録されていないか,されていても不完全なものであることが多い.最初に英単語として学習した単語であっても,外国語音の知覚・生成能力や綴字法の知識の不完全さによって外国語の音韻・正書情報に歪みが生じ,母語の音韻・正書情報が支配的となる.さらに,このような中間言語心的辞書が二言語処理の可能な心的辞書へシフトするための外国語学習方法を提案した.この方法では,1.正しい外国語音を習得して音素単位で母語とどのような対応づけがなされるかを把握し,2.外国語の綴字法の知識を習得した上で,3.語彙項目内の外国語の音韻・正書情報の修正や,原語の情報がない語彙項目に原語とのリンクづけを行う.本研究の結果から,外来語が外国語処理に及ぼす影響の大きさが明らかになった.従来は,外来語を外国語学習に活用することの有効性が示唆されることが多かったが,正しい手順を踏まなければかえって弊害が生じる危険性も示唆された.

The cognitive processing of foreign language and the influence of loanwords were studied in 16th and 17th years, and the meaning of phonemes was analyzed and discussed in 18th year. The results of this study show that the ability to generate English phonological knowledge in different situations is not very good, and the main reasons for the obstruction to the construction of English dictionaries are as follows: Based on these results, this study summarizes the theoretical basis for the study of intermediate speech. In this case, the phonological information of the native language and the script information (in the case of this study, the English language and the script) are recorded in the dictionary of the heart. The foreign language and phonemes and regular script information in plain language are not registered in the original foreign language and are not completely understood. English language is the first language to be learned, foreign phonology knowledge is incomplete, foreign phonology knowledge is incomplete, Chinese phonology information is incomplete, native phonology information is dominant. In this paper, we propose a new method of foreign language learning based on the dictionary of intermediate speech and the dictionary of possible speech processing. The methods include: 1. acquisition of foreign phonemes in Chinese, 2. acquisition of foreign suffix knowledge, 3. correction of phonemes and script information in Chinese, and 3. translation of primitive information in Chinese. The results of this study show that loanwords have great influence on foreign language processing. The loanword is used in foreign language learning.
