项目摘要

平成18年度では、平成17年度に作成した価格データベースを用いた定性的要因を含めた多変量解析を行った。多元的流通構造を有する穀物と単一的流通構造をもつ特産財などの他の財との価格決定メカニズムの差異を含めた価格動向の変化の解明を進め、その成果の一部を、論文「15世紀後半フランデレンにおける穀物価格上昇と地域の市場化」として公刊した。また、データベースについては、新規データの収集も進め、平成19年度1月ベルギー滞在期間中、国立中央文書館において史料調査を行った。なお、17世紀には価格史料の残存数も多く短期間の個人レベルの史料調査で調査できる未刊行史料は限られるため、記載形態などの特徴をふまえた刊行史料の利用を図り、自ら調査した価格データと組み合わせる形での価格分析を当該年度に更コンピュータを進めた。また、全体の貿易における穀物流通の位置、17世紀政治構造が穀物流通に与えた影響について、アムステルダム大学のレスガー助教授、NIAS所長のブロックマンス教授と意見を交換するとともに、最終年度である平成19年度に、これらの成果に基づく研究集会の実施および、データベース公開に向けての準備を行った。なお、穀物流通におけるヘント、アントウェルペン、アムステルダムが果たした中心機能についての構造的分析の結果については、平成19年度前半に公刊に向けた論文作成を行っている。
