项目摘要

学習者に,自らの技能として情報技術を取捨選択し,活用していくきっかけを与える教育は重要であると考えられる。本研究では,学習者の学びたいという内的欲求を探るための手段として,パソコン利用に対する「自信度」向上を支援するための仕組みを作り上げることを目的とした。研究では,パソコンを使う20の実務作業を設問項目として「自信度」を測定する調査用紙を作成し調査を行った。結果として,実務的利用をイメージしながらパソコンを利用することで「自信度」が向上し,積極的な姿勢が身につくことを明らかにした。また,高校の情報教育担当教員に対して情報教育の教育方針を調査することで,大学教育で実務を意識した実践的な内容を期待していることが明らかとなった。得られた知見をもとに,情報リテラシー教育において,実務的な利用イメージを意識させ,継続的なパソコン利用を持たせるための授業モデルを提案した。具体的には,アルバイト先の商品PR活動,専門教育を想定した統計データの処理など,学習者が身近に感じられ,将来的な利用を想定できる課題設定とした。そして,課題完成イメージを構築させ,必要となる操作技術を学習者のスキルレベルに合わせて設定させることで,学習の「自由度」を大きく設定した。これにより,習熟度に格差のある集団でも,各自のスキルに合わせて課題を進めさせることができた。また,支援システムとして,コミュニケーションボードを設け,教員や学習者同士で継続的利用を意識させた。さらに,設定した目標達成に積極的に取り組めるよう,教員が学習者の設定した目標に対する到達点をポイント化してフィードバックするようにした。これにより,学習者に自らの目標達成を自主的に進めようという気持ちを持たせることができた。これらの支援システムを活用することで,学習者の「自信度」を大幅に上昇させ,学習者間のスキル格差を縮小することができた。
