本研究の目的は、ことばの教室での使用を前提とした吃音を持つ児童生徒の教育的指導支援プログラムを開発することである。最終年度となる本年は、大学施設で行っている児童・生徒に対する教育臨床の中で、過去2年間の研究で検討を加えたプログラム試案を実際に使用し、その有効性や問題点の検証を行った。また、吃音の当事者団体である言友会会員を対象に、小学校の学級担任に対するニーズ調査と、吃音がある人の就労についての実態調査を実施し、これらの結果に基づいて評価システムと指導支援システムについて主に社会的問題の観点からプログラムの見直しを行った。本プログラムは、大きく、評価システムと指導支援システムの2つから構成されている。本プログラムに基づいた指導では、評価システムを作成するにあたっては、吃音がある児童・生徒の持つ様々な問題を包括的・総合的に評価することを可能とするためにく、発声発語や言語発達、認知発達、蓮動発達、情緒・心理面の状況、周囲の環境要因、社会的問題等の様々な評価の観点を設定した。また、指導支援システムを作成するにあたっては、吃音がある児童・生徒の多様性・個別性に考慮し、指導支援の観点(吃音問題を構成する3要因である発声発語の改善、情緒の安定、社会的問題の中のどの問題を対象とするか)、目的、方法等がパッケージになっている36の「モジュール」を作成し、児童・生徒の実態にあわせてこれらを随時組み合わせながら指導計画を行っていく方法を採用した。これまで、吃音がある児童生徒を総合的・包括的に評価・指導支援することを狙ったプログラムは、具体的なものはほとんど提唱されていない。今後は、本プログラムをことばの教室で実際に使用し、その中で出てくる問題点を改善していく作業を続けていくことで、本プログラムの内容をさらに発展させていきたい。
