本研究では,大学運動選手の危機経験(迷い悩んだ経験と悩みへの対処行動の経験)の特徴および危機経験と自我発達との関連を検討した.その結果,「競技成績や技術の停滞」「チームメイトとの関係」「怪我」などで多くの選手が悩んでおり,他者に相談しながら悩みに対処していることが明らかになった.また,「競技成績」「将来の職業や進路」「生き方や価値」「異性の友人」での危機経験が自我発達に関連することが明らかになった.さらに,選手が持っている父性・母性が悩みへの対処行動に関連することが明らかになった.
