本研究では、三次元仮想物体の操作感覚を向上させて存在感を増すための触覚インタラクション技法を開発し、視覚・聴覚・触覚によるマルチモーダル情報可視化システムを構築した。仮想物体との接触感を提示するデバイスとして振動子付き手袋を利用し、インタラクション・システムに実装するための仕組みを構成した。現実物体を触ることにより仮想物体を操作する手法について被験者実験による評価を行った。その結果、触知インタラクションが仮想物体の操作性向上に寄与することが示唆された。
