项目摘要

本研究は、日本の専門職大学院において、1.従来の大学院と異なるどのような教育がなされ、2.そこに在学する学生を社会人と非社会人と比較して、どのような知識・能力を獲得しているかを実証的に明らかにすることを目的としている。第1の目的に関しては、機関の訪問調査、関係者へのヒアリングをもとにして分析を行い、第2の目的に関しては、在学生対象のアンケート調査を実施して分析を行った。第1に関する分析の結果、どのタイプの専門職大学院も現場での実務と直結した教育を行うことに力を入れている。従来の大学院教育と異なる大きな特徴であるということができる。だが、それがある領域の専門的知識の高度化を目的とするのではなく、職業現場における経営実務の修得に力が入れられ、両者の間に乖離が存在しているケースがあることも明らかになった。第2に関する分析の結果、おおむね社会人大学院生は非社会人大学院生よりも、大学学部卒業時から現在までに知識・能力の向上の度合いが高いことが明らかになった。ただし、その向上の度合いや知識・能力の内容は、領域によって異なり、経営系ではもっとも効果が明瞭であり、法科では限定的であることが明らかになった。

This study focuses on the following aspects: (1) the differences between Japanese vocational colleges and universities;(2) the comparison between social and non-social students;(3) the acquisition of knowledge and ability; and (4) the identification of evidence.
