本研究では仮想市場法の改善を目指し、メンタルアカウント(お財布)のフレームを考案し、それがアンカー効果を減少させることを検証し、調査時点での実験者と被験者の関係によって調査回答時間、表明WTP値が異なることを示した。なお東工大の学生の地球温暖化対策に対する支払い意思額は年間13000円であることが判明した。
