訪問介護の質を利用者が評価する2つの尺度を開発した。ヘルパーの態度などを測る「ヘルパーとの援助関係」評価尺度、サービスの継続性などを測る「事業所の対応」評価尺度は、2地域のデータでその信頼性と妥当性が確認できた。満足度を構成する概念の数やタイプについて共通見解はないと言われているなかで、訪問介護の満足度には援助関係と事業所の対応にかかわる次元があることを尺度を通じて確かめ、構成概念の一端を明らかにできたと思われる。
