経済発展にとって制度的インフラの整備は決定的に重要であり、とりわけ法整備は市場経済の発展にとって不可欠の要素である。本研究では、アジア市場経済化諸国を対象に法整備支援の現状と問題点、さらには今後の課題について学際的研究を行ない、その成果の一部は『法整備支援論-制度構築の国際協力入門』として出版した。調査結果は現在とりまとめ中であるが、各国のコーポレート・ガバナンスのありようが市場経済化の成否に大きく関わっているという暫定的な結論を得ている。
