项目摘要

本研究の目的は、(1)日本の司法環境と日本の解雇規制の強さの関係について明らかにし、(2)解雇規制等の労働規制が日本の労働市場の構造変化や社会厚生の変化に与えた影響を考察することにあった。(1)については、昨年度にディスカッションペーパーとしてまとめたものを国際査読誌に投稿し、引き続き改訂を進めている。また、国際学会での報告や議論を踏まえて、解雇規制の厳しさと労働市場パフォーマンスの因果関係について、より精度の高い分析を追加した。(a)判事の転勤という日本独特の制度を利用し、より論理的かつ緻密な議論により因果関係の正確な検出を試みた点、(b)あまり知られていない日本の解雇規制についての国際的認知を促す活動を行った点に、今年度の本研究の貢献があると考えられる。(2)については、「企業活動基本調査」(経済産業省)の個票データを申請し、そのデータを用いて企業の生産性(労働生産性および全要素生産性)を推定することにより、解雇規制の強化が労働市場だけでなく企業の生産性をも下げる可能性があることを統計的に示した。本研究は、解雇規制と労働市場以外の経済活動との関係を日本で初めて分析した研究として位置づけられる。本研究の最大の意義は、労働市場に関する政策変更が様々な経路を通じて労働市場以外の経済活動にも影響を及ぼすというメッセージを示した点にある。一般向けのシンポジウムや学会での報告を通じ、研究成果を学会内外にアピールする活動も行った。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the judicial environment in Japan and the enforcement of dismissal regulation in Japan, and to investigate the impact of dismissal regulation on the structural transformation of Japan's labor market and the transformation of social welfare. (1)In the past year, we have submitted articles to the International Research Institute and revised them. International Institute of Technology reports, reviews, and market analysis of causal relationships with high accuracy (a)The contribution of this study is to explore the use of the unique Japanese system of judgment, the logic of dense discussion, the correct detection of causal relationships,(b) the promotion of international awareness of dismissal regulations in Japan, and the implementation of activities. (2)In addition, the Basic Survey of Corporate Activities (Ministry of Economy and Industry) estimates the productivity of enterprises (i.e., total factor productivity) by applying for individual votes and using statistics to indicate the possibility of reducing the productivity of enterprises in the labor market. This study analyzes the relationship between firing regulation and economic activities outside the market. The greatest significance of this study is that policy changes related to the market, communication, and the impact of market activities outside the market, as well as the impact of market changes.
