本年度は昨年度に実施した調査を集計し、結果を分析した。調査地点は、ロシア連邦トムスク市、カザフスタン共和国セミパラチンスク市、広島市、及びコロンビア共和国カリ市である。調査対象者は、カリ市の100人を除き、他の都市ではそれぞれ約400人である。調査方法としては学生を対象として連想調査法を用いた。分析結果はロシア連邦トムスク市で開催された第3回平和学平和教育国際会議などで報告し、報告書に論文として掲載された。連想調査結果の分析においては、それぞれの都市における重要語彙の比較により、トムスクがいわば中心にあり、他の3都市は互いに遠い位置にあることを明らかにした。さらにヨハン・ガルトゥングの提案した「平和の場(sphere of peace)」概念を用いて、重要語彙のもつ「平和の場」の大きさを個人から社会、国家を経て国際関係に至る尺度で測り、セミパラチンスク、トムスク、カリ、広島の順に平和の場が拡大することを明らかにした。広島の原爆体験、カリの内戦体験がこのような平和の場の差異として反映されたと考えられるが、この論証は今後の課題である。また、今年度新たに韓国済州市において調査を行い、タイ国コンケン市でも近く調査を行う予定である。これらの結果を加え近く最終結果を公刊する予定である。
