European Regional Integration and Economic Difference, Study on the multinational enterprises and the economic difference among the locals of the EU.

本研究考察了欧盟下区域经济一体化的特征、与次国家地方经济分化的关系以及跨国企业的应对策略。结果表明，欧盟本质上是以经济自由化为导向的，这加剧了本地企业之间的差异，而跨国公司的反应受国家经济和市场特征的影响较大，难以在更高层次上实现经济的自动趋同。

This research has been examining the character of regional economic integration under the European Union, the relationship between it and the sub-national local economic divergence, and the responding strategy by the multinational enterprises (MNEs). As the results, we confirmed that the EU is economic liberalizing orientated in nature, which enhances the divergence among the locals, while the responses by MNEs are heavily influenced by national economic and market character, which makes difficult automatic economic convergence at higher level.
