胆嚢癌および乳癌について、DNA転写物質をコードするMYC, 容体型チロシンキナーゼをコードするERBB2, EGFR の遺伝子の増幅をfluorescence in situ hybridizationを用いて検索した。胆嚢癌では97 例中3例にMYCの増幅があり、1例でERBB2とEGFR、1例でERBB2の同時増幅を認めた。乳癌では91例中31例にMYCの増幅がみられ、このうち10例にERBB2の同時増幅をみとめた。
