センダイウイルスエンベロープ(HVJ-E)を用いて、未成熟染色体凝集(PCC)を簡便に誘導できた。放射線照射24時間後、すなわちDNA修復がほぼ完全に終了した時点で誘導したPCCから第4染色体断片数を測定し、さらに照射前の第4染色体数で補正したところ、断片数と細胞生存率の関係は、従来の報告とほぼ一致した。HVJ-Eを用いる本方法でも放射線感受性が測定できることが示された。
