河川実務に供する低負荷かつ高精度な計算モデルを構築し,併せて航空写真解析を行って,その実流動への適用性を検討した.主な成果は,(1)形状が不規則な実河川の広域流動を簡易に解析可能とした点,(2)二次流の効果を準三次元計算である程度表現した点,(3)少ない格子で高精度計算を実現するため,"斜めCIP-Soroban法"を創出した点である.また,航空写真解析では実体視と相関法を併用して高精度化と省力化を図った点も成果として挙げられる.
