Mutations not previously reported in katG and novel isoniazid-resistant genes were detected in Mycobacterium tuberculosis clinical isolates. All mutations were characterized and confirmed that these were associated with isoniazid resistance. This study will contribute further understanding of isoniazid resistance and development of antituberculosis drugs.
