项目摘要

本研究は、実践者(教師や保育者)と研究者が共に日常の教育実践や保育活動記録を気軽に共有でき、実践を協働でデザインすることを支援するインターフェイスを構築することを目的としている。インターフェイス・デザインの分野ではデザイナがユーザとともにモノとのかかわりを含めた活動文脈を有し、経験する「参加共有型デザイン(participatory design)」が行われ始めている。この手法を保育・教育実践に応用することで、実践者とともに保育(教育)実践および記録をその日のうちに共有し、新たな実践を共に日常的に創造することを支援するインターフェイスの開発を目指した。本年度は研究計画3年間の最終年であり、観察ツールを実践において使用し保育デザインの循環を構築した。本年の成果の特記事項として、昨年度の試作版ツール開発に関する受賞に続き、拡張版ツール開発における成果が国際教育工学系会議ED-MEDIA2009で発表した結果、657の採択論文のうちの18の受賞論文の一つとして選ばれ、二年連続で受賞したことである(Gyobu, Toda, Uemura, & kudo, 2009)。このツールを実際の保育実践の場で年間の園内研究会で使用した実績も大きな成果であった。実際に使用した結果として、このツールによる、その日のうちに即時の重要な活動のシーンの共有が園内研究会における話し合いを焦点化、活性化させる効果がみられ、複数の人々との議論における、言葉のみの議論にありがちな言葉によるすれちがい、イメージのずれを解消し、建設的な「場面」に基づく事実による保育実践の話し合いが可能となった。
