本年度の研究成果の概要は、ウルドゥー語救援会話データを充実したこと、アラビア語データとタイ語データ作成作業を行ったこと、およびデータを携帯端末に搭載し、使用者に気軽に使ってもらうためのアプリケーションソフトを開発したことである。既に公開しているウルドゥー語データのホームページに追加すべく、学生アルバイトを雇用し、既存の会話集・語彙集の追加となるデータ作成作業を行った。アラビア語については、これまで構築されているウルドゥー語資源のデータを参考に、担当者である近藤が前年度アラブ諸国を海外調査した成果も受け、会話集・単語集データを作成した。タイ語についても、ウルドゥー語の成果を元に、同じく会話集・単語集データ作成作業を行った。これらのデータはWebページ上で公開するべく、データの整形・Webページ化作業を進めているところである。上記のような言語データを救援者・学習者が実際に利用するためには、Web上のデータとしてのみ提供するだけでは不十分で、現場で非専門家が利用しやすい形態で提供する必要がある。我々のこれまでの携帯端末上でのデータ処理の研究に基づき、本年度はインタラクティブな利用しやすさに重点を置いた言語データ提供のためのアプリケーションソフトウェアを開発した。開発はMicrosoft Visual Basic 2008をベースに進めた。前年度購入したWindows Vista端末で、小型化、高速化、災害現場フィールドでも利用できる堅牢化したものに搭載し、実際の動作を確認した。このソフトウェア開発は、連携研究者である大阪府立産業技術総合研究所の研究員の中心的貢献により進められた。平成22年3月の情報処理学会において、本研究の成果発表をおこなった。
