アフリカの紛争に起因する社会問題は、グローバル化の渦中のなか複雑化して、現地の平和構築を困難なものとしている。本研究は、国境で二分しきれないポスト・コンフリクト周辺地域で人びとが再建してきた生活基盤の詳細を明らかにし、アフリカにおける平和構築のあり方を模索することを目的とするものである。平成22年度は、20年度に立ち上げた「紛争、難民、平和構築研究会」を、国立民族博物館若手共同研究「アサイラム空間の人類学」と合同で随時開催した。この共同研究ではアフリカおよび日本の難民キャンプ、医療・福祉施設、開発再定住地といった地理的隔離を伴う空間を対象とした国内の紛争および難民、強制移住をテーマとする若手研究者らと計3回の研究会をおこなった。また南部アフリカ地域の若手研究者らと組織する南部アフリカ地域研究会を計7回開催し、難民・ジェンダー・医療を中心に議論した。また11月には同研究会とナミビア大学とが共催で国際シンポジウム"The Dynamics of Socioeconomic Changes in Local Societies in Southern Africa : Tha Challenges of Area Studies"を開催し、口頭発表を行った。またナミビア・ケニアにて捕捉資料を収集するため現地大学や国連機関を訪問した。それらの成果をまとめ、3月に国立民族博物館で開催された国際シンポジウム「日常を構築するーアフリカの平和構築実践に学ぶ」にて口頭発表をおこなった。

In November, together with the research society, universities and colleges, we jointly urged the international trade organization "The Dynamics of Socioeconomic Changes in Local Societies in Southern Africa: Tha Challenges of Area Studies" to launch a press conference and make an oral statement. This is not true. The capture data set is located in the local university of Taiwan, and the national machinery is not available. In March, the National Museum of nationalities and the National Museum of nationalities began to promote the development of international trade programs, such as daily training, peace, peace and practice.
