项目摘要

本研究では、京都郊外の野における具体的な風景づくりの事例調査を通じて、各対象地での様々な景観形成と、人々の風景に対する価値評価の歴史的展開を追いながら、各時代の景観資産が現代まで保たれてきた要因と、その要因となった創造的な景観計画の意匠の実体を明らかにすることを目的とする。平成20年度においては、(1)嵯峨野における風景の成立と歴史的展開からみた風景の持続性については、文学の作品や絵画を資料として、風景の価値づけの歴史的展開を明らかにし、風景の価値づけと景観創造との関連を考察し、風景の持続性とその要因を考察した。平成21年度においては、(2)平安京郊外の別業における地形囲繞の景観構造とその意味について、標高データから作成した3次元CGを用い、地形と見えとの関係や領域性の分析と、文学作品の分析と通じた景観的意味の分析をあわせて考察した。(3)江戸期文人の山荘にみる視点場の創造とその意図について、3次元地形モデルを用い、その地形特性・景観特性を利用した見えの操作手法・工夫を考察した。同時に、文人の残した手記をもとに、風景の評価と山荘創造の意図について考察した。(4)京都の山裾地形上の庭園における風景の見せ方について、地形スケール、敷地スケール、建築スケールの風景の見せ方の三層構造に着目し、敷地周辺の地形のもつ景観的特性をどのようにいかして敷地デザイン、建築・造園デザインが行われたかを考察した。以上の(1)～(4)の研究成果を博士論文に取りまとめた。
