项目摘要

本年度の研究では、以下のような点において一定の進展を達成することができた。(1)教育現場における教師のあり方=プロフェッショナル・アイデンティティーが危機にさらされている、その現状と社会的背景を明らかにする。(2)ハーバード大学哲学科名誉教授スタンリー・カベルの提唱する、自己と社会の持続的変容の思想であるエマソンの道徳的完成主義を、教える者の学び=教師の教育としての哲学として再解釈する。(3)教師の窮状の改善と教師教育の改革が叫ばれながらも試行錯誤の続く教師教育の現場に、カベルがアメリカの実践哲学の源流とみなすラルフ・ウォルドー・エマソンの「創造的な読書」を中心概念にすえた新しい教師教育のかたちを提起する。以上の3点である。以下、具体的にどのような進展をみることができたのか、概要を記す。(イ)平成20年度の研究の成果をふまえ、新たに確認をする必要が明らかになった、J.LオースティンとL.ウィトゲンシュタインの著述とカベル哲学との関連性について最新の研究動向をふまえた論考を展開した。(ロ)ロンドン大学における国際シンポジウムでの発表等を通し、カベルの思想にアプローチを試みている国内外の研究者との連携・交流を深めることができた。(ハ)上記のような研究活動の成果を博士論文としてまとめるうえで、必要な機器・環境の整備を行い、執筆の進捗に務めることができた。(ハ)上記のような研究活動の成果を博士論文としでの発表や、学術誌への英語論文の投稿にあたって、英文校閲等の専門的な助後言を敵宜取り入れつつ、国際的な議論の場への参入に向け、執筆活動を進めることができた。上記研究実績の概要として報告する次第である。
