Study on the use of historical architecture databases by collaborating with local government

我们建立了历史建筑基本信息、位置和图像信息的数据库系统。在对2008年岩手县地震中受损的历史建筑的调查中，我们能够确认这个数据库系统的有效性。该数据库系统在调查2011年东日本(东北太平洋沿岸)地震中受损的历史建筑时被用作分类账簿。日本建筑研究所、文化厅和地方政府正在使用这个数据库调查历史建筑的破坏情况。

We created a database system of historic buildings basic information, the location and image information. In the investigation of the historic buildings that were damaged by "The 2008 Iwate-hokubu Earthquake", we were able to confirm the usefulness of this database system. This database system has been used as a ledger book in a survey of the historic buildings that were damaged by "The 2011 East Japan (off the Pacific coast of Tohoku) Earthquake". Architectural Institute of Japan, Agency for Cultural Affairs and local governments are investigating damage of the historic buildings using this database.
