This study aims at searching for possibilities of PC networking in preschool education, and clarifying advantages and disadvantages. As one of possibilities, an electronic bulletin board system (BBS) was re-designed for preschool children use that children can put data on like drawings or voice messages by using a scanner and a microphone. As a result of trials at preschools and teachers training schools, it was shown that the system could be an efficient way of communication for preschool children even if it was limited to visual and auditory correspondence.

本研究旨在探讨电脑联网在学前教育中应用的可能性，并厘清其利弊。作为可能性之一，重新设计了一种电子公告牌系统(BBS)，供学龄前儿童使用，儿童可以通过扫描仪和麦克风将数据放在图画或语音信息上。在幼儿园和教师培训学校的试验结果表明，该系统可能是学龄前儿童一种有效的沟通方式，即使它仅限于视觉和听觉通信。
